David Thorne, Gemserv’s Chief Executive said:“We are delighted to welcome NMi to the delivery consortium for the SMDA scheme. In our role as the SMDA Scheme Operator, we have undertaken an extensive and robust procurement process to ensure that the best outcome is delivered to the industry. We are very much looking forward to working with NMi and Critical Software over the next few years to offer the SMDA assurance service to the industry.”
Over the coming months, the SO will be working with the NMi to complete the necessary readiness activities with a view to commence testing in early Q2 of 2017.
Rosie McGlynn, the Chair of the SMDA Co, responded: “SMDA Co. is very pleased with the appointment of NMi as the Scheme’s Test House, which marks a significant milestone on the road to the launch of the SMDA scheme’s testing services.
